A flow standard is a special form of test leak for large leak rates.
Test leaks are used to simulate leaks when setting or monitoring leak testing equipment.
They are integrated into the test circuit instead of a test object or in parallel to a leak-tight test object. A fixed flow resistance is specified by a precision throttle specially adapted to the desired leak rate. The standards are tested and delivered with a calibration certificate.
This allows measurement system analyses and machine capability studies to be carried out quickly and easily with a leak-tight master part and a suitable flow standard.

On request, we also manufacture special designs or test dummies with built-in glass capillary according to customer specifications.
